Rob Lewis is turning into a John Adams type of hack!

He also seemed to forget That Oregon hung 48 on us in 2010.

I didn't get to see your response yesterday. Didn't you give me :crap2: the other day for my Dooley hate retoric the other day? Yet started a fire Dooley hate thread yesterday?

Want to get super pissed?

John Brice

If you saw the press conference you know that Dooley talked about how awful the defense was ad nauseum. It's not like he was saying "we'll we won so everything is ok".

I think the guy needs to be canned tomorrow but constantly pulling quotes out of context and freaking out drives me crazy. The results are plenty evidence without manufacturing stuff.

My only comment is why are Dooley and Sunseri still in Knoxville this morning? They both should have been run out of town immediately after that disgusting defensive performance!

Dooley is doing a good a job. The proof is in one of the best offense TN has ever seen. However, if he does not make a good decision about Sunseri, he will have to go. Fulmer's failure to do anything about his lagging offensive coordinator cost him. Hopefully Dooley won't make the same mistake.

Cheeks says we can't afford to buy Dooley out. What a joke!
School can't but the donors could.
They'll wait until it's financially convenient for them, which won't be forever but will seem like a life time of grief for fans.

Jimmy Hyams just stated that Jimmy Cheek doesn't want to pay the buyout $$ to fire Dooley, so if UT wins the rest of their games, Coach Dooley would be retained.

So Cheek says we can't afford the buyout and his contingency is Dooley has to win the rest of his games? :eek:lol:

Prepare to be shocked Mr. Cheek

Because Hart wants to keep the media storm away for as long as possible. He's a huge procrastinator. "Oh Dooley, yeah well I'll get to that next week". :p

Hey!!! Didn't Andy Griffith and the Darlin's used to sing the song "Oh Dooley" back in the 60's?

Cheek doesn't have a dog in the hunt. If the boosters want to pay the buyout, they'll pay the buyout and cheek will shut his mouth.

Three questions---how many games has that offense won us? How close are we to winning the East? How close are we to being nationally relevant and at least being in the conversation for a BCS bowl?

In that same history, no UT team has amassed 718 yards of offense either ... until yesterday.

Bro....no Volunteer team in UT history has had to keep all the starters in to even try to amass 718 yards of offense against a Troy caliber team. Absolutely pathetic this had to happen...not to mention we, Tennessee, didn't have the most yards on offense when the clock ticked 00:00 :blink::scare:

If they don't run this a55 clown out of town, it's gonna cost TN way more than his $5 mill buyout! who's going to go watch this garbage in Knoxville?

So Dooley deserves more time after 3 years, but Sunseri doesn't after 1?

Perfect sense.

Tennessee's football program has been in existence since 1891. That's a span of 121 years that encompasses 1,205 football games. Never, not once, in more than a century and 1,000 football games, has an opposing offense gained more yards than the 721 that Troy put up on the Vols inside Neyland Stadium on Saturday. No team has scored more than 40 points inside of Neyland Stadium since Washington State put up 52 way back in 1988.

Nothing sums up the absolute atrocity that the Vols' defense has become like this statistical nugget; on Saturday Tennessee set a school record with 718 yards of total offense. But got outgained. Just wow

with all that said...at the end of the day...it is a W
