All I can fathom on this is he might be Barnes replacement...there always been a shot at recruiting over him...other than that this makes no sense

Where would you go when you have UAB level offers?

This type of offer is why Dooley has to go. This guy shouldn't be in the discussion for a UT offer. There's a reason Bama or Auburn hasn't offered this kid. And Auburn sees this kid a lot with his teammate committed to them. This is BS.......

He's not anywhere near Barnes as a college prospect. Sunseri and Dooley are doing this out of spite. They have to be just offering kids these days.

No way Sal was drooling over Barnes this summer from what I read I think this guy is going to be another body in our Lb class this year.

If you were a recruit would you want to come play for a DC whose defense averages giving up 522 yards per game? I think not. Most of these kids do not know for sure if Dooley and Co. Will even be back next year. That's why a change needs to happen and fast. You think this year is bad, wait until next.

I thought the goal was to recruit more speed on Defense. If that 40 time is legit then no thanks.

C'mon man. That's just low. Why in the world do you think Sunseri and Dooley would do that? Seriously. These guys are professionals who have been involved in coaching football for more years than most people here have been alive.

We already have 2 project outside backers in this class... Why another offer to a ptoject?

I'm about done with this staff if they are offering this kid. Even if he's being looked at as a LB wouldn't he fit the 4-3 better? Or are we switching to the 4-2-5? So he could play the spur. Pinson has always done good at getting their best LB free to make 100 tackles a year. But none of these players ever pan out.......

Dude Pinson is known for this with one guy on defense making all of their plays. They get to college and you never hear from them again. Then seeing what we need on defense you offer a kid that you hope can put on weight. This is crazy. Hell move Miles to LB if that's the case. He's already bigger than this kid.

If we want mediocre players there are a ton in THIS state. Amazing how offers go out to these kids but we don't even offer kids like Mobley who grow up here in town and seem to be more talented. Not starting SEC talent, but damn sure more talented than these other kids..

Do you think that it could be be because these are the only players that will give us a nod? Realistically, Tennessee is going to have a very difficult time getting the players it needs with the results they have put on the field. I remember when referring to multiple recruits towards the beginning of the season, Vonn Bell in particular, that breaker, Jay, and a few others were saying that all we had to do is take care of business on the field and these big time recruits would come callin. Well.... Now what do we do? I say scrap the whole Dooley project and start over. WITH A COMPETANT HEAD COACH AT THE HELM. It is not just the fans that can see that Dooley is not a winner. It's the future players that will make up Tennessee football.

Oh... And for the record, Georgia, Alabama, and Florida are getting the elite prospects. If you are wondering where they are going. Dave Hart and Jimmy Cheek have to be taking this into consideration when making a decision at the end of the year wouldn't you think?
