I think Strong will be a good coach some day, with a little more experience. True, he's 8-0, but he's only beaten two teams with a winning record. Cinncinnati, and N. Carolina.

No way, not even in the same spectrum. Dooley messed that one up he has no say in this. Dooley's mourh, attitude and inability to Coach is why his one shot at a big time school is over after 3the horrid yrs.

I cannot fathom the talk about Pete Carroll. Just can't imagine a situation where he leaves the NFL and Seattle, a team he is still building and having success with, to go back to college. Makes no sense to me.

Strong may not prove to be a home run hire right out of the gate...maybe in the long run.

I would be completely fine with Strong as coach, but would be extremely disappointed if we end up with anyone but Gruden.

JMO, but I always thought he was a west coast guy kinda like Kiffin. I do like his coaching style though.

Probably not but when you are talking the kind of money these boosters are willing to throw around no one is too big to shoot for

I think we could do much worse than Strong. He's defensive minded, disciplinarian, good morals and wont embarrass our University and I think he could recruit well and win here.. but in saying that Gruden has got to be options 1-10. Think Del Rio could be a really, really good option #2(11). But hopefully we will never find out who the next options are.

Agree, his best success is in the future. Think he's going to be a very good coach.
