Refering to the espn article on the gruden update page what is with people ssaying dooley could stay here if he wins out? I disagree and trust our insiders that hes gone but the fact that some fans and ESPN analyst agree with this is insane to me. how could any1 want him back after 3 consecutive 0-5 sec starts and having beat 0 ranked teams? but if he goes and beats troy and kentucky vanderbilt and a ****ty mizzou and we beat duke in a bowl game were making progress? sorry just had to vent just cant believe some TENNESSEE FANS one of the winningest prgrams of all time would agree with that. When I think of this thread and Volnation right now the way everyone is following these "insiders" I can't help but think of this...

Huh. When I think of you, this comes to mind:

I want Gruden.... can't take another year of Dooley.... In over 45 yrs watching the vols this is worse coached team I have ever seen..... Good talent (not great) but certainly better that the coaching staff

The post that I responded to does not speicify that it was a draft. It questioned if it was. I'm not sure it matters. What if he signs it? Does it at that point become the MOU?

I'm just speculating because agreements can come in a variety of shapes/forms/sizes, but both parties to the agreement would have to sign the MOU for it to be a valid, enforceable contract.

If Gruden hasn't signed anything, then he is free to do what he wants.

I'm a few hours late with this comment...but I've had a kidney stone that lasted a good 12 hours about 4 years ago. I thought my appendix had ruptured. During the time this occurred, I worked in advertising, cause I too have a degree from a university ; )

Anywho, I spent everyday in my car scooting around Kentucky. When this stone occurred, I literally thought I was gonna die. I drove myself to the nearest ER which was a good 40 minutes away. I then proceeded to wait in the damn ER for about 6 more hours without being seen. Then a moment of happiness came, I took the hugest dump of my life (TMI I know) and then vomited almost simultaneously. At that moment my cold sweats stopped, and that throbbing pain was gone. So I told the ER "f*** you, I fixed myself"

Worst 12 hours of my life. Never wish it upon anyone. Good luck with it Goat.

I have said it before and I know it really doesn't matter but if Dooley is here next year. I will not spend a single penny on anything related to UT. I refuse to give anything that has any remote possibility of ending up in that fools pocket.

I have been told that kidney stones are how men learn what childbirth is like.

Good luck to all you guys, and you might do some research on possible causes. I thought I remembered reading once that all the limestone in the area can cause problems (high calcium content in the water); might be just an old wives' tale tho.

I've had 3, and it is the only 3 times I ever wanted to die. Oh, well those and the UK game.

I have never seen a thread like this one i've been waiting for it to slow down but it hasn't. Until Gruden is hired as a coach to somewhere this thread and i would guess many like it won't die.

No one can really die, if they truly believe in gruden.

as said in volnation chapter 4 verse 8796
