Derek Dooley talking on the zone right now...Clay asked him if he thinks 7-5 would get the job done. In short, Dooley's answer was "you can't think like that". Seemed to dance around a direct answer...:D

Has the MOU been fully negotiated with Gruden? In other words, have the parties exchanged drafts and Gruden is sitting on the final draft? If it is the latter, and Gruden has indicated that he will sign it at a certain time, I feel a lot better about it. Although he can still change his mind.

But, if this is just an early draft, it is a far stretch to claim this is a done deal.

I believe I read that Cuonzo Martin was employed at UT for quite some time under a MOU. The formal contract was signed months later

Hey guys. I was out with the kids trick or treating and ran into an old buddy/Vol fan that I haven't seen in awhile. Of course we started talking football and the coaching situation. He asked what I thought was going to happen with Dooley? I told him that my sources (lmao) say that Dooley was done after this year. I asked if he had heard who we were after and he replied, " Yeah, I heard Gruden but he said he didn't want it."

Now this guy is no insider or anything but got me to wondering. Has Gruden addressed this and I missed it? I haven't been able to follow much the last few days. Did I miss something?
