I am going to try there next week if possible, but I have some honey holes around Poland Creek that are hard to go away from. Those 9 keepers I caught were amongst about 50 that were 9 to 9.5 inches. Next year my spot will be on fire. Been sinking stuff in an area for 6 years now and it is finally where I want it.

I'm still not sold on Dooley finishing the year...but that is just me. Anything can happen at anytime.

Last time I went duck hunting the lake froze over. Don't remember our guides name, but they wanted us to pull the boats out to the blind. I stayed in the motel room and watched bowl games, lol.

So you feel the announcement of Dooley's firing is more about when we get everything worked out with his replacement than it is the results of certain games/the rest of the season?

I do. It has nothing to do with so called team improvement...just unforeseen challenges in the details.

If or when the Vols are in fact officially pursuing Gruden, and a deal gets done, any time after that Dooley could be shown the door.

A Petrino hire would be disastrous. How does someone who's last publicity came from being fired for lying to the administration, hiring his lady friend, etc... get named as the possible next head coach of UT?

Ridiculous.

So, Lex, can we probe this a little further? Do you know or believe that the following rumors are true:

1. Somebody claimed to see Gruden at the Knoxville airport last week. Would he have been coming or going?

2. Gruden has been looking at houses in the Knoxville area.

3. Anything else?

Here is a question for curiousity: What if Dooley plays Troy, Mizzou or Vanderbilt too close for comfort, does he get the boot?

We have discussed if he loses another game he is done, but what if they get taken to OT by Troy, what happens? (does a close win = immediate termination)
