Yikes.

That reminds me of having my gum grafted (like a skin graft) during a dental procedure back in middle school. Whatever he kept shooting me with kept wearing off in seconds. So, I got a ridiculous amount of shots on top of having my gum cut out. When he finally realized he really was hurting me, he was more than halfway finished, so he just finished.

Our Take: At least one UT assistant has stopped work on a house he and his wife were building in Knoxville. One worker inside the UT football office said before Saturday’s loss to South Carolina that it was “win out or else” for the Vol staff. Several prominent boosters believe Dooley’s already done, too. Heck, some members of UT’s support staff claim that Dooley’s style of management has created a horrible work environment. And, yes, Gruden really is Tennessee’s top choice as a replacement. Would he walk away from millions at ESPN to coach in the college ranks? And if he wanted to coach again, why wouldn’t he do so in the higher-paying, no-recruiting NFL? Still, rumors swirled on Tennessee radio and messageboards all weekend of a Sunday press conference that never came. We’ve been told that UT officials know a “sure thing” hire is needed this time around. Petrino’s name was floated to us by one insider. Following up on that, we kept hearing Petrino’s name (as the fallback option for Gruden). But if Gruden and Petrino both say no to Tennessee, would the Vols be better off just sticking with Dooley for another year if — and it’s a big if — he wins out, finishes 7-5 and takes UT to a bowl game? That’s why we’re not slamming the door completely shut on him just yet. If a “sure thing” won’t take the job, why push Dooley out in favor of another risky up-and-comer? Our gut feeling? Tennessee’s next coach will be Petrino.

I didnt today. I got 9 my last trip out last week in poland creek. These were caught below Ft Loudon dam this morning. Along the lock side in 18-20' double tied flies 10-12' under float they said. Given to me by a client.

Sometimes when they would be wrestling in Lake County, Samburg, Tiptonville etc... they would hang out at my uncles house all day. Was pretty cool as a little kid. Especially only getting 3 channels we were tuned in every sat from 10:30 till Noon. My Grandpa would yell at the TV, always though that was funny since I knew it was all scripted. The stunts, esp the blood stunts, have gotten far more high tech than Novocaine, a razor blade, and candle wax to hold it shut. Look at the foreheads of old wrestlers, have watched them do it before a show many times. Dutch Mantell and Bill Dundee were bleeding almost every match lol.

MNF ends on Saturday the 22nd of December.

Could we announce Gruden's hiring before that date and allow him to finish on MNF then come on full time after?

Or would we have to wait till he quits MNF to do that?

I guess my question is would it be some sort of violation to have your incoming Coach announcing on MNF?

I fish there all the time on the Lock side where he water is calm up and down buddy went 2 weeks ago and caught one thx for the info I got to get back down there

I have said many times, the longer the wait coupled with more losses, Bobby Petrino will be forgiven by this fan base.

I don't see any violations announcing it. It would be a miracle if they could keep it under wraps that long.

That's why I wore a mask, I wasn't going to juice. I worked with several that did.

I got into by accident. Georgia championship wrestling came to do a show at our HS and wanted to get a coach involved to really get the kids involved. I jumped at it. The first 2 times I wrestled were the first two times I was ever in the ring. They were telling me everything to do. The first guy I wrestled turned out to be the Big Boss Man. He wrestled that night as a Russian. They liked me after it and got me traing. I could do a flip at that time and land on my back, see arm drag take downs.

Petrino will not be the coach here. Donors would not support that. Half the fans wouldnt either. Good coach, terrible person.....has a problem with commitment.

It would really depend on how closely he was watched by the AD. I think it could be a destination job for Petrino....surely he has learned some life lessons.

Just be prepared for a dumpster fire when and if he does leave. It is always very bad.

So what you are saying is you would imagine in a scenario where Gruden is our HC that Dooley coaches out the year and we let him go then within a week or so announce Gruden as the next coach effective post Christmas?

I have heard he wants to finish out the year at MNF.
