If we are trying to hold onto the info that Gruden has agreed to a deal until the season is over, I'm not sure they can keep that under wraps for another month.

Let's think about this, a potential staff with Gruden(HC,qb's playcaller), Graham(rb's), Tee(wr's), Steele(lb's), Zook.(dc) . UT fans get plenty of UT ties with experience and recruitng chops. Good grief, just imagine. I actually think Chavis would come to be DC if Gruden hired Steele as LB coach.

Sounds like a power staff to me.

If it happens before January, and it is Gruden, we will have a top ten class....higher in all likelihood.

Nothing is signed. If it is Gruden there are likely things left to iron out. If it is Gruden we are likely on his schedule. I don't think Hart makes a move without 100% certainty on another coach.

Gotcha, I just wonder what else Gruden is waiting on if he indeed has been involved in talks for weeks and $ has been agreed upon. Dont get me wrong, I know this stuff is complicated,but just wonder what he is waiting on if he indeed is waiting to sign( I thought he was waiting on DD to be fired, but some say they are waiting to fire DD until Gruden is in the bag) . I was just confused about which one it was

I know we've been in contact with him. And is now he is assembling a staff.

I think there is no doubt at all that he will be coaching somewhere next year. Is it Tennessee? I don't know.

Hubbs has put it in print. Without copy and pasting he says Gruden has talked to some about the possibility of joining his staff.....even the possibility of joining him in Knoxville.
