I don't feel I'm living in a dream world about Gruden. NO, I don't think he is locked up but nor do I think that it is just some fantasy that a bunch of online gossip sites started. There is something there. People can mock all they want and they may get a chance if he turns us down but to hell with them.

The verbal deal is done. He's gonna finish off MNF then it's on like donkey kong!

I think the thing cynics of all this are underestimating is how fed up the boosters are. Remember when everyone laughed at Bama for being muckups the way they do us now? Hasn't been that long. I think we are at the exact same moment in time when they hired Saban. They just starting throwing money at him till he couldn't say no. Tired of UT fans acting like we will NEVER get it right. WE WILL. We had Kiffin for one year but Bama had the Price thing and Franchione.

I like your optimisim.

I took Percocet after my ACL surgery this past decade. That stuff was nice. After nearly a week, I realized I would need to take more of it to get the same "high." That's when I stopped using it. I never used more than the recommended amount, and I only used it for 5-6 days, but I definitely saw how it can become addicting, especially if you suffer some kind of chronic pain.

Exactly. But much like Ainge, I'm sure I will be dogged by the morning crew for having a susceptibility that I allowed to take over.

The friggin doctor wrote me a prescription of percocet for an ear infection!!! I didn't realize how addictive they could be. When I got home and took one, I started feeling woozy, so I Googled it. Reading about it was enough to make me just deal with the pain and save those suckers for when I accidentally chop my thumb off making dinner or something.

Ear drops are the most I've ever gotten for ear infections. Wow.
I have had three sports-related surgeries and took pain pills after two of them, but that's it. The one I was able to just tough out wasn't done well and was eventually redone with a new surgeon.

Tough SOB.

The ear infection was a sore that ended up putting a ton of pressure on my tempanic membrane. Loads of pain, but I didn't think pain pills were necessary.

My worst ear infection was my first one. I didn't know it was infected. I thought I just had a build-up (pardon the graphic content). I had just moved into a dorm for undergrad and had to wait a few days before I could go to the free campus health clinic. Percocet would have been nice then. That was brutal. I just tried to ignore it by staying out and active.
