I don't think an interim coach is going to do any better than Dooley these next four games, so I don't have a problem with him coaching. And announcing Gruden during the season won't make the current players play better, so that isn't a necessity either. We should just ride it out, hope for the best these next four games, and try to win 8 games in a season for the first time in a pretty damn long time. gbo.

I disagree. If a coach of Gruden status was announced recruits would look hard at UT that had not previously considered

I dont think anybody has a real problem with Dools being the interim, they just wanted definite change, announcement saying hes done but will coach out season, etc.

The non announcement means the big fish isnt on the line IMO...but will come out when he is...

This is about all I can surmise.

But if Gruden is announced as next. We have an extra month to catchup on recruiting the elite players. For instance the athlete that we were his 2nd choice but chose Bama. Maybe that guy flips and others flip from Georgia and Florida and such. Earllier the better.

.As you should Mrs.Gruden has been checking out local real estate online for the last few days. Not saying hes coming but seems a little strange that she would be doing that since shes moving to Arky.

I've said it before with next years schedule that might be a worse season than this one. If Dooley is the coach they will probably have to fire him at the end of that season. So if they don't see that much improvement for next season why not fire him now or at the end of this season and get it over with? Cause if they keep him he would be a lame duck coach going into next season.

There is a difference between hoping and spouting off, trying to make people believe you know something. Too many on here just state unverified facts, hoping to be correct, in the insane attempt to be thought of as an insider. Unfortuntely, there is no accountability for the jibberish some spout on here.

And the masses are far too gullible.

Yeah and the buyout you only save like $1 million dollars with him getting fired next season as to this season. So the revenue of a new coach will make it way more worth while now.

my daughters cheerleading coach cheered with her at ut.She may be at Hc this sat. They were trying to hook up and see each other. Knoxville Realty Company is one of her favs on Fb.Wonder why .
