Tiny

I don't know why this comes as a shock to some of you. These players bust their rear ends all week and want to win even more than the fans. I don't see how anyone can question the effort of any of them, even bray and hunter.

Yes but this was different, idk how to explain it but he was just different after this play I think he's a top 5 pick. Next year will be a breakout year with or without CDD. Dooley doesent need to get on his team as much now he needs to get on tiny who will do it for him. Make sure everyone is in the weight room on time and knows that playbook cause I for one would not want him to talk to me after jumping offsides would you?

After watching the game Saturday one thing that sticks out to me is the look on Tiny's face after he had giving up the sack that lead to the fumble. He looked mad and angry sitting on the bench and I loved it to me it showed he had enough of this and showed passion and fire and if we are curious who the leader of this team will be next year or the veteran leadership I think it comes from tiny and AJ Johnson. Any thoughts?

Forget his face when he gave up the play.....how bout how he blocked Clowney all day besides that??

He's gonna make lots of money in a few years.

Stud.

Quote from Clowney on SC's MB, in case you didn't see it.

"Tennessee's O-line is the best I've ever competed against. You'll see Tiny on Sundays."

Tiny Richardson is quickly becoming my favorite Vol. He was absolutely studly against Clowney, and it's a shame that one play probably cost us the game, but we wouldn't have even been IN that game without Tiny's efforts.

Realistically it's been this way the entire season against the top ranked SEC teams.

If just 3 to 5 plays in every game, except alaBubba, had gone differently then we could be sitting here today as a 1 loss team and ranked in the top 10 Nationally and already the SEC East Champions.

We're much closer than most on here will ever admit and I'm actually amazed that CDD got us here this fast from starting with nothing and so many of our starters and backups still being Sophs and Freshmen.

If this had been our 2nd year in our new 3-4 Defence then our D would already be looking alot like the number 1 ranked Defence that Bama has had for 2 years in a row and our Vols would be a VERY tough team to beat.

Next year Tiny and several others are going to become even better leaders and they will flatout DEMAND that every person on our team give 100% to learn everything, get better and to NEVER give up on any play in every game just like Al Wilson used to do.

We ARE growing up and getting better and we are getting more future NFL players on our team with every recruiting class that CDD brings in so the playing field is starting to level out against the top SEC teams.

We're much closer to being back and a feared team again than most on here realise or will ever admit.

VFL...GBO!!!

0-5 in the SEC for the third straight year. Now that's progress.

Anyone know how he busted his nose. On the first few clips of him being pissed on the sideline, I didn't notice it. I wonder if he threw something and it backfired on him ;-)

Brice said he broke it on the last play while blocking JC. I liked that while he was talking with JC after the prayer, with the paper sticking out of his nose, Tiny wasn't smiling.

That's what I like to see he was PISSED. He's got That fire in his belly as coach Fulmer use to say!! We need guys like him and his teammates see the fire and it will drive them on to keep fighting!!

As Fulmer should still be saying.

If Clowney gets an entire game, even against the best OT in college football... he'll win at least 1 play.

Tiny did a phenomenal job on Saturday. Unfortunately for him, he gave up that one play to Clowney at the worst possible time.

I have an enormous respect for Tiny and he will, in my mind, leave here as the best OL UT has ever put in the NFL. Guy is phenomenal. There is a reason why he had the offer list he did.

Perhaps he will be the one to fill Clifton's cleats.

I feel bad for the kid, but great players make plays- Clowney was quiet until crunch time and then he couldn't be blocked.
