Rucker has to be Dooleys nephew. He is arguing there has been improvement. Barbara is probably in studio holding a pistol up through the glass.

Good analysis.

If it were true or even pertinent, explain this: We lost to UGA by 7, who then loses to SCAR by 100. If you are correct, we lose to SCAR by 107. Nope. We lost by 3.

Or, SCAR barely beat Vandy who got trashed by UGA. So, UGA beats SCAR. Wrong again.

Or, UF struggled against BGSU, so we beat UF by two TDs and they are crazy overrated. Nope. UF is a one loss team late in the season.

MTSU beat Georgia Tech by 21 points and lost to MSU by 42. Does that mean MSU beat Georgia Tech by 63 points? I doubt it.

It is a fun game to play but it has no real bearing on how each team plays each week. MSU was the biggest game in their season, it is easy for them to get up for that and hard for MSU to get up for playing a cupcake. It happens every year...

The story you aren't telling is that Troy lost to WKU, La-Lafayette, Florida Atlantic AND MSU.

At this point, with our defense giving up 500 yards a game, it very well could be a close game, and a chance we lose.

I think we win, but it could easily be a shootout, maybe similar to the Akron game, but closer.

I don't know if any of the VN "insiders" are actual insiders - but don't let a report from TonyB make you think they are all full of $%&*

to think that an AD of a prestigious SEC school that is 3-5 has not started to reach out to the agents of top coaching prospects to see what interest there may be is absurd

so i can't tell you if Gruden will come to TN but i will tell you that if our AD is above Forrest Gump intelligence he has made calls to the agents of the top 10-15 coaching candidates out there to see what interest there may be

I want a new coach just as much as the next guy but not noticing improvement especially when it comes to playing hard is being delusional imo. we had the same sos last year and we folded every game.

I said I bet Troy puts up 500 plus yards against us, and may beat us, meaning they will be in the game to the end. I stand by it, will you admit I was right, when it happens?

The point is, I have probably an inflated sense of entitlement when it comes to the VOLS and winning but I expect to win those games. I don't sit around and fret about them. The natural order of the football universe reserves hand wringing and fretting to the scrub teams that have to play UT.

I hear you. The last decade of Vol-Ball though has proven that we have to re-earn that status as we threw it away years ago. I am ready for improvement!

Yes, the real fans want him to stay. Anyone who really loves Vol football is pumped about things we are seeing. DD only lost by 31 to Bama and if not for bad luck, could have been 28. UT is just snakebit. Bad luck is to blame for bad hires, lack of discipline, poor game management, etc. We are all Nega-Vols.
