find a Gracie Barra Jiujitsu, or similar.

Don't do taekwondo and that stuff. Kids can get a black belt over the damn summer almost. This takes several months just to go up one belt and can't be a black belt until you are 18.
Judo will be throws mainly, but the submissions in BJJ are what make it fun.

Thanks. Time flies much to fast. We were up in Knoxville yesterday to see my oldest, and dropping her back off at the dorm was just plain sad. Seems like she was born just yesterday.

The 4 year old....that boy can turn 18 anyday!! lol: kidding. really.

outside leg sweep, inside leg, hip throw, headlock takedown, double leg, single leg..plenty of ways to take down and I think many of them are probably judo-like or came from judo.
