PAtience! and have a little faith...Boro, Jay, DTO, Skeeter, OCI, SBV and everyone have said things still look good. Skeeter even said he received a text saying we would hear in >48hours one way or another. Skeeter hasn't spoken much on this topic but he is usually very right, as is SBV...

Just because Hart hasn't talked to Gruden's camp doesn't mean talks aren't happening. It's like any other coach that says "No, I haven't been contacted, and I'm happy right here"... but their agent has been contacted and a few days/weeks later a deal is hammered out and that coach is doing a new press conference.

That is always how these deals work. Everyone denies to save face in case it doesn't work out, agents/boosters talking behind the scenes, until everyone is ready.

Yup. Noon will come. Nothing will be announced in regards to HFC change.

This thread will explode.

"Insiders" will come in and say their sources are telling them now it is the end of the season announcement but for sure, the deal is done.

It is awesome!

If Dooley isn't fired today then there is no telling when or if Dooley gets fired. To me , they would want to get this over with so a new coach can be named if for nothing else just to get his name out to give recruits something to think about.
If Dooley is coaching Sat it will be in front of a half empty stadium. The longer Hart drags this out , the more money Tn loses.

This is why the insiders/guys with sources do not like to post anymore on this thread, you guys expect news every 10 minutes or it isn't happening. This week we will find out if Dooley will be gone or will remain the rest of the season. This should relieve a little stress. Hart is a very smart man and knows what he is doing, Hart also knows the boosters are wanting an improvment. We will find out no later than tomorrow afternoon if Dooley is fired/resigned or will be evaluated at the end of the season.

In the corporate world of contracts there has to be things that need to be worked out behind the scenes. I am sure UT would want Gruden not to be connected with Corona beer commercials, that has to be worked out for one. I am also sure Jon got a bonus signing his contract with Corona, if Gruden is coming there are a lot of things that will need to be done behind the scenes.

OK, I have been way to invested in the this thread. It has altered my moods and had way to much effect on my day to day life. I will be checking in once a day from here on in. There are still 4 games left to play and I will enjoy those without worrying if the outcome has any affect on the coaches tenure. I hope you all are right and I will check in when I hear news from an outside source. Wish you all well, and THANKS to Boro, OV, Jay, Skeet, OCI, and all other who have given us reason to believe however I just can't stick it out....Quitter....right?

I disagree. If he doesn't have gruden on the hook he should wait. The biggest reason being recruiting and the second to give this team the best shot at a bowl. He can work the back channels just the same to get a coach that couldn't start working til December anyway.

How is Dooley going to recruit effectively anyway, being that his seat is red hot?
