Yeah they've left some points on the field.. Made bad decisions at times also.. This defense is just about forcing them to play a perfect game though.. That just doesn't happen often, if at all..
I would like for you to go back and read all of your posts out loud to yourself and see if you truly believe the things that you are saying.
what are you smoking? top to bottom the SEC for the past 5 or 6 years is the strongest it has ever been. Saying a team that was ranked as high as number 2 a couple days ago is the weakest in years..stop smoking dude.
You are so wrong... Stats don't lie. Chaney has one of the best Offenses in the SEC! Chaney has been over ruled by Dooley in situations thats out of Chaney's control. We don't have RB's like other SEC teams. Have you been able to see any of our guys break a tackle or make some one miss? (We have 1 guy thats plays WR that embarrasses our RB's when He plays RB) Chaney is not the problem what the hell is wrong with you guys? Make all those 500 + 3rd and long stops this season and you would see even more offensive yards. I can not believe how many of you blame Chaney! Offense is by far not the problem!
Disagree w/ OP. As has been stated by others, Chaney's O is putting up plenty of points to win. It's the D that's the crapshow.
I think you have this spot-on.
Despite the defense, the offense has been in positions to win every game for us (cept Bama). And they have never pulled it out. Florida loss was ALL on Chaney (and we weren't behind in that one); defense actually made three fourth quarter stops against GA; against Cocks the third and short debacles did not help the defense, and that has been a consistent problem this year DESPITE excellent work by Graham, Pittman, O-line, and RBs.
Any OC should be able to score points with this offense. You could draw plays up in the dirt.
What this offense has never done under Chaney is pull out a big game.
The difference in this season has been the critical mistakes by JH and TB. When the game is on the line you put the ball in the hands of your best players. Chaney and Dooley have. Those players have consistently failed to come through with big, game/season changing plays.
