doubt it, cause he would just help their CFB coverage and they would probably have amazing access to him and the program. They seem to be in love with the Buckeyes still

I know I am in the minority... but I wouldn't mind that. I want Derrick Green to come to Tennessee and a decent D would show a different W/L Record. I want a decision.

This has been my opinion since Miss St:
I would not mind Dooley being fired, if and only if, Tennessee signs its "Nick Saban". I do not want some up and comer. I do not want a guy that has to explain himself to current commits. I want a guy that comes in and creates instant excitement from us, the fan base, and recruits. Tennessee the program, cannot afford an up and comer. We will be set back more years and I am not about that life.

I almost hate to repeat as I do not want anyone to think that I am going against anyone's opinion and/or information, but take it for what it is worth....

I have always heard that it will be the week of the Vandy game if we announce a new coach.... Let me say up front that I have asked other folks on here and they indicated that I was getting my legged pulled and that may very well be the case (my leg getting pulled)....

I did hear at one point after UF game that Hart had thought about releasing CDD and bring in an interim coach.... I heard that even Fulmer and others were approached and was asked about about possibly coaching the team through the end of the season if they made a move.... That is when I asked the board what everyone thought about CPF taking over for the remainder of the season if it meant we were able to obtain JG....

It really struck me odd that they would wait until the Vandy game though to announce anything/everything...... Last I heard was the the Fulmer thing was basically off of the table though.......

All of this was before the "Blow up in the office" BTW I still have heardn't of that anywhere but here... Not saying it didn't happen, just saying this is the only place I have heard about it...

Again..Take it for what it is worth and I am not going against any of the other info out there as I believe it is changing by the day....

I do not believe he is the coach for Tennessee, and I believe Gruden will be and is the coach we need. It is an insult for you to come into this thread and make such general associations as that.

I am appaled that anyone who calls themself a Vol would treat any coaches family especiall his children with such disrespect :banghead2:

I believe Hart is torn. With our DC from last year we win against FL, Miss St, and USCe. Our offense has been hamstrung by the worst defense in history. We win those games and there is no thread here at all.

I don't buy that. No offense but that wouldn't be the best choice for Derrick unless he doesn't mind holding off recruiting for another month than he anticipated.
