I am hopeful the timing has gotten crossed in the translation amougst those in the know. If not all this is a hoax.

Two very well known UT connected people told me its happening tomorrow which doesn't add up to me. So I am very cautiously optimistic.

You sir do not know what you are talking about.... I am a dyed in the wool grudenite and I have never spoken anything about Coach Dooley as a person that is disrespectful, little alone his family.

I do not believe he is the coach for Tennessee, and I believe Gruden will be and is the coach we need. It is an insult for you to come into this thread and make such general associations as that.

I am appaled that anyone who calls themself a Vol would treat any coaches family especiall his children with such disrespect :banghead2:

I do agree with other posters that from a public perception stance, announcing the dismissal/resignation of one head coach and then right afterwards introducing another, even if it is a HR like Gruden, just plain looks bad.

doing great man. car business severely limits my time on here. i almost got fired about two months ago cause they figured out i was sitting in my office watching recruits videos and old vol games instead of standing outside trying to catch customers lol had to tone it down some

He is not a terrible coach, he just isn't ready to be a HC and definately not good enough to be an SEC HC. He maybe that way forever, but he could be very successful at a different level for sure.
