doing great man. car business severely limits my time on here. i almost got fired about two months ago cause they figured out i was sitting in my office watching recruits videos and old vol games instead of standing outside trying to catch customers lol had to tone it down some
Lmao!!! I liked your post, but not because you almost got fired. :eek:lol:

Hart isn't dumb enough to stick his neck out with the status of everything. He knows how much anger is ready to pour out from this fan base. Supporting Dooley by holding a presser would cause backlash.

If Hart was going to back Dooley he would've by now IMO.

If you're just going to give a "vote of confidence," you don't hold a presser...you just release the standard form letter to the media.

If the sources are good, and a presser is held...at the very least he will announce his firing at the end of the season (like Fulmer) or terminate him immediately and name an interim. But I don't think that's a good sign if memory serves...someone said if an interim is named that it means Gruden is a "no go." Who knows at this point.

Aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhgggggggggg!!!!!

I don't even drink whiskey, but that **** looksssss goooood!!!

Could it be a recruiting violation?

i'm sure there is a "by-law" somewhere that could be used against us, not saying it will though.

The last thing we need is a "Kiffin'esque" introduction of a highly touted and highly anticipated super bowl winning coach.

We need to do it right, have him like Dooley did, with his family, and listen to him at UT as if he is giving a nobel prize winning speech. That would be the classy thing to do.

I think there needs to be separation between the firing, and the hiring. I agree though that time is of an essence given other job openings and potential NFL jobs opening up.

but this all relies on the fact that Gruden is our next coach, and I'm still skeptical.

Kinda what I'm thinking, my belly is in knots.AHHHHHHHHHHHH

same here as well. i want it all to happen so badly but i just cant convince myself that it will. at least now peyton is about to play so it gives me something to take my mind off of it for a bit.

That doesn't make sense, IMO. If anything, replacing CDD with an interim means an open position for a new staff member to recruit.

What's wrong with Mike Tirico saying "Well, Jon, I heard you got some news."

And Jon going "Well, Mike I'm taking the University of Tennessee head coaching job. I'm yada yada yada"

then having a press conference the next day?
