I don't know. Why would he be here, if not for the job? And that was him. I can say with at least 90 percent certainty that it was him. And the check-in guy DID tell me that he had a limo ordered for the morning, to take him "over to campus somewhere"...

I got near him when he was waiting for the elevator and said "Hey John"....he didn't move a muscle. Dude's got some self-control! And that red hair, that stern jaw, I'm pretty danged sure it was him. At least 75 percent sure.

I got on the elevator with him, to try to draw him out more. On the way up, I said "So how bout them vols!!?"

His response was strange, though. He tried to sell me aluminum siding.

But I'm sure it was him! At least 50 percent sure!

BTW, does Gruden have an earring?

why do ALL the gruden threads get merged here? Some are good enough to stand as their own seperate thread. The problem here is that good threads are getting lost in the muck

Was the scheduled recruiting test after November 1st a big part of the info you received?

As I stated earlier It is probably not relevant but if anybody is hanging their hat on that info it's not creditable IMO.

I heard that there was a timeline in place, corresponding with the timeline for him have a contract in hand, where he would take the exam in early November. I would not call it a schedule. I believe I posted that in one of the earlier Gruden threads. I believe DTO reported something similar.

Gruden hasn't accepted any job, regardless of what the hack OCI says. Honestly, I'd be shocked if Gruden was the head coach at UT next year. Lots of terrible rumors out there and unfortunately most are coming from this site.

I suspected the test was very insignificant concening the timeline as it should be. The test is really a joke to be honest.
