checking into the Crowne Plaza in Knoxville.

It was him, I'm 100 percent sure it was him.

I asked the check-in guy who he was, and was told "don't ask".

I don't know. Why would he be here, if not for the job? And that was him. I can say with at least 90 percent certainty that it was him. And the check-in guy DID tell me that he had a limo ordered for the morning, to take him "over to campus somewhere"...

I got near him when he was waiting for the elevator and said "Hey John"....he didn't move a muscle. Dude's got some self-control! And that red hair, that stern jaw, I'm pretty danged sure it was him. At least 75 percent sure.

I got on the elevator with him, to try to draw him out more. On the way up, I said "So how bout them vols!!?"

His response was strange, though. He tried to sell me aluminum siding.

But I'm sure it was him! At least 50 percent sure!

BTW, does Gruden have an earring?

If he announces Dooley will be evaluated at the end of season and Dooley lucks out and win the next 4 as he should then win a bowl game, there would be no meltdown with Dooley returning ibm 201. It would not make good business sense the fire a coach that just won 5 in a row.

This firing needs to be done tomorrow. If not Dooley may very well be the UT coach in 2012, jmo.

Late morning but in a nutshell boro said JG is scheduled to take the recruiting test sometime in November.

That test takes less than 10minutes to take and can be done at any ad on any day. The point is there is no reason to schedule it in advance.

Then disregard if that is your opinion. I don't care......I have nothing to gain by sharing what I know, or who it came from. I've not tried to convince anyone throughout all of this.

What I was shown (text) from a friend who knows a well known booster is consistent with what BoroVol has said.

He said that Dooley would be out Monday " If it's bad"

However, the text said Gruden is on board, and Dooley is out no matter what.

I saw it on Friday
