Our SEC schedule is not going to magically get easier anytime soon, the current HC is not getting it done. The only thing we have to hang our hat on is we have officially hit rock bottom.Tied with Vandy for consecutive starts in conference play for 3 straight years... 0-5

Dooley will not be fired! This time next year he will still be our coach. When will people learn that things never work out in Tennessee's favor? If it weren't for bad luck we would have no luck at all!

Like I said before I've been a believer since the first Gruden thread, but hearing there won't be an announcement today or tomorrow is very disheartening.

And I'll be the first to eat my crow if it works, but I just don't see it happening now.

I'm in. Waiting on Gruden until the University announces otherwise. I have a lot of respect for some of the posters on this board that say it's going to happen. If it doesn't, still don't mean we've been lied to. Situation is fluid.

How would he know?

There is still time to call a presser for both today and tomorrow.

Then you should know by now that just because Hubbs or someone says there isn't a presser scheduled, that doesn't mean one won't happen. All the insiders have also said that it's entirely possible that Dooley coaches Troy. Nothing has changed at all.

The only hope we have is that the AD would not announce a press conference until there is something concrete to announce. Let's say that there are meetings with and without Dooley to have today and tomorrow before Dooley is informed. The AD will not schedule a press conference until these i's are dotted and the t's are crossed.

Plus, it probably is easier to set up and conduct a press conference on a Monday afternoon because all of the staff people will be at work.

That is the optimistic side of me talking. However, the pessimistic side is coming on strong at the same time. A lot of "insiders" on here are going to look utterly stupid if this doesn't go down.
