Lets say the G man is wishful thinking....who is a proven legitimate hire we could be happy with? Kinda feels like we are GRUDEN or busy.

you guys really under estimate Smart imo . He is a lot more than Saban's puppet as most of you seem to think. He is an outstanding recruiter and he actually runs the Bama defense . He is not my first choice , but I would take him over Del Rio and Strong

Bill Cowher (stupid unrealistic)
same with Del RIo

add Steve Sarkisian which would be very solid to me.

And David Shaw another solid choice.

My Friend has a Friend who lives In the Mens Bathroom at the local Waffle House in KTown and saw Gruden eating a All Star Breakfast.

Not sure on Patterson . I will need to see how he pans out playing B12 teams for a year or two . So far not so good . While he continuously won 10-12 games playing his mwc conference schedule , so far he is 1-3 in the B12

With the money we are throwing at Gruden, I would lower it a smidge and throw the house at Stoops. He's only making roughly 4.3 mil a year at OU so let's give him about 5 mil. He's a proven college coach that can take talent and develop it. He has experience working in the SEC and he's defense-minded. We can offer equal or better facilities/fan base/support as OU and a fresh start in the best conference.

Wishful thinking, but I would rather see that than anything else, especially if we don't get Gruden.

Despite the meltdown against ND last nite I think Stoops could be a winner for UT. After last nite many OU fans would be happy to get rid of him

Stoops coached under Spurrier at Florida. I think he would come to SEC to match wits with spur and Saban

Ken Niumatalolo, just so I can hear the promo to his TV show and have Kesling have to pronounce his name dozens of times a week.

Most likely Kirby Smart. Not who I want and only a marginal step up from Dooley.
