Goo lord, some of you guys are dense. We have stated this stuff a long time ago. I'm tires of repeating the same darn thing every 3 days to satisfy people who are looking for change minute to minute.

Listen to what Boro is saying. Don't freak out if Dooley for some reason coaches Troy. Sit back, relax, and know that better days are ahead.

be patient with us DTO we starved for Good news... the Gruden excitement is first good thing I have seen sense 1999 :cray:

Lowest attended game in probably 50 years.

Here's my thinking: If Dooley were to be fired, it would have to be this week. You don't give him an opportunity to win 4 straight games if you're Dave Hart. Because that would give fans (and donors) who are on-the-fence time to go back to Dooley's side. You want to eliminate as much bad publicity as possible.

i totally understand your point and dont consider myself one of "those" guys but i dont want Dooley coaching against Troy. im impatient. has nothing to do with Gruden. i would feel this way if his name had never been mentioned. i want hope. i got a fever. the only prescription is less Dooley.

I agree. To be honest, I could care less if Dooley coaches next week or even the rest of the season. The damage is already done, let him finish the crappy job he started. All the focus now should be starting off next season with a coach who is qualified to lead us through the SEC.

agreed and thought the same thing about the game yesterday. when you make a decision to fire someone, do it. doesnt matter who you may or may not get. you know what you got isnt working.

I would think the announcement for Dooley stepping down or being fired has to come no later than Monday afternoon.

The odds are TN wins out which put Dooley at 7-5 and going to a bowl game. He win Bowl Game, he would be 8-5.

To fire him after winning 4 or 5 in a row would be a PR disaster.

If the AD is going to make a move it has to be now.

Fired Majors with a better record than that. 9-3

I have to agree with this Kingston....It would be a bad publicity issue if Hart allows this to happen.. however he hasn't been the best at this in the past considering the Pat Summit issue and his silence during this media zoo going on...

Makes sense to me.

Smokey, do you post anything in this thread other than just agreeing with DTO, Boro, OV, and Jay.

Almost forgot you use the popcorn guy alot as well ( )

I agree with them, but I have posted a lot of other stuff in the previous three JG threads....Been around here a lot....As for the popcorn stuff, I just sit back and watch..No need for me to say a whole lot.

Everything will fall into place.

I retract my last statement about letting Dooley finish out the season. In my defense, the thought of Dooley winning five games in a row NEVER crossed my mind. Has he ever won five in a row in his career. I guess anything can happen.

Smokey, I am only messing with you. I know you have been here from almost day one. You are one of the OG's.
