I would think that if Dooley is let go today or Monday and Gruden is in the bag it would at least take a few days or even a week for the Gruden announcement to be made. An announcement would never be done on a Monday because it would take the emphasis off the two teams on MNF and place it on Gruden. I don't believe he would want to do that. I also believe the university would want to make it appear that a search actually took place AFTER Dooley was let go. These are just my opinions, I have no source if information whatsoever.

Anybody hear Todd Kelly this morning say Gruden would be crazy to start coaching again? He thinks there's no way he comes here.

I would guess Dools is out tomorrow, and hopefully Gruden announced in a week or two. I don't think he would be announced immediately like some are anticipating.

Why would he be crazy to continue what he loves? Hopefully TK knows better than to think Gruden only works a few hours a week.

Seems like a pretty elaborate troll job if thats what it is. But this line that supposedly Gruden said to the guy at baggage claim seems like a troll to me.

"I love it there. My wife is from up there. We own land in Sevierville. Every year we go to Sevierville and plant a tree."

I was VERY skeptical of this until I saw a pic of Gruden in a staff meeting with Terrico wearing the same shirt from the plane. He also did a commercial during the Bama game last night with a jacket over that shirt. As far as the plant a tree statement, I think he should have stopped with the pic.

Gruden is 49 years old. Why would he be an analyst for the rest of his life? A lot more time to coach. He will coach again.

I half expected him to claim that Gruden then said "But I'll never leave Tampa."

The tree thing makes more sense to me... it an annual event in Seveir County... the shirt....well Gruden has a complete line of these it is the Fired Football Coaches Association sclothing that he wears a lot...all alike, not necessarily the same shirt

Goo lord, some of you guys are dense. We have stated this stuff a long time ago. I'm tires of repeating the same darn thing every 3 days to satisfy people who are looking for change minute to minute.

Listen to what Boro is saying. Don't freak out if Dooley for some reason coaches Troy. Sit back, relax, and know that better days are ahead.
