You had a fine effort as well, but you were so close. I think you have the right guy though, you should win out and that may keep you safe for next year. You really need to give ole Double D one more year. You will get out cheaper that way.

Honestly, the best hire you could make all kidding aside is the coach we were dumb enough to run off. Regardless of his indiscretions he is as good a college coach as you could get. You would be in the top ten in a year or two.

The feeling's mutual, Arky will have 3 in 3yrs as well. Change is needed, you would know it if you had watched Tennessee the past 2 and a half years.

Just another reason John L needs more time. He won't get it though. Garrick McGee is the next head coach for Arkansas. Congrats!

Arkansas has not been the picture of stability. 9 coaches since 1977. Tennessee has had four. We will both have another coach next year.

No parent in the country is going to willingly let their child play for Petrino, it would be a recruiting nightmare. Sounds like a barn lock anyway.

I don't care if we would win a NC every other year for ten years I don't want that scumbag. Some things are more important than winning.

But it was a done deal last night. What happend? Seriously , McGee is a better hire than you think. We both are down , but at least we aren't Auburn. They are getting Bob IMO.
