I understand your thinking, but the former negavol posters weren't the only ones that saw nothing from Dooley that convinced them he could win.

I guess I wanted to give him another chance to prove it. UF turned out to be a lot better than we all thought, but still. We had that game. And then vs UGA and Miss. State and now USC. Bama game doesn't weigh as heavily to me because there are few, if any, teams that can beat them.

This. Would just be bad PR imo. I see the benefit for sure, just not sure it looks good. Hard to argue DD was given fair shot this year if UT admits they were negotiating with JG before DD lost this game. We all may know or think that is the cae, but dual announcements Monday all but confirms it

I am not going all in here just stating 2 huge prominent names believe Monday is the day for both announcements.

If hubbs states between now and Monday no decision til the end of the season I will believe they have been fooled along With us

I didn't see them all but saw a couple that were quoted and they were definitely worthy of a ban. I'm a moderator on another forum unrelated to sports and I would have given someone two weeks off for those comments.

If this doesn't happen then a lot of prominent UT names have been fooled.

There is no doubt about that last sentence. People will look foolish that , lets just say do not like looking foolish. Like the very prominent person that claims to have read a MOU that was to be presented. 0 chance this person made that up.

IIRC someone on here said their source said it could be announced on MNF. That was earlier in the week and may have been in Gruden II
