Apparently they didn't rule him out of bounds.
Correct. There were four meaningful bonehead plays by the officials. Weren't the reason we lost but made it tougher.

1. Intentional ground not called
2. Lattimore fumbled on his injury play - we picked it up and scored.
3. Receiver dropped the ball at the one yard line just before the half.
4. Shaw stepped out of bounds at the end of the game

How would we have won with that last timeout?

Not trying to be a smart aleck; I want to know.

I won't pin the loss on the refs, but they certainly made things easy on scjr today

Did you stop watching the game & listen to the commentary? The refs ran the clock after Shaw stepped out, I guess he should let the damn clock run out.

The TO was the moment that I started cursing the TV today. Usually it starts n the first quarter or during pregame.

Hart,
Please put Dooley and the rest of vol nation out of our misery.

I don't want Dooley back either but how can you blame him on that? He should get help from assistants. But he has to think quickly and if officials wind clock the you have to call TO. Fans will criticize anything.

The timeout didn't cost us the game. Dooley didn't cost us the game. Brays fumble didn't cost us the game (even though it was bad timing). Poor secondary play in the first half cost us the game. We couldn't get them off the field in third and long.

Dooley lost the game plain and simple:hi:

I was thinking Lattimore fumbled on his injury but they didn't give us that for some reason. I think Dooley cared more for ML than spurrier does. (thats sad). I also thought Clowney horse collared Lane and it wasn't called glad other people seen this as well.

Ref was blowing it dead already. Also after calling the TO Dooley could have advised the ref it was a TO to challenge the call on the field. Refs get the call right and TO is returned to UT. I believe I (and the rest of the UT fans) have a right to criticize. Having the TO would completely change the play calling when we get the ball back.

It is a nonissue.

This has happened in almost every game. Remember he pocketed timeouts against Georgia and Alabama. He will make the small mistakes that cause loses. It's been 3 years already; id think we could tackle by now.

Guess you didn't listen either. They also said if he had challenged, we would have gotten the timeout back.
