Man that picture makes me cringe. Reminds me of the Aaron Hayden break back in the early 90s...

Sucks for ML.....

they should start penalizing guys like Gordan for going low like that, sometimes it's unavoidable, but some of these hits that guys are taking need to be regulated/officiated so as to avoid more

They have already made it hard enough to tackle. What are you gonna do if you they dumb it down more?

There was nothing wrong with that hit. With strong guys like Lattimore, you are taught to try and go for their legs. There's no way you could tackle him by trying to go straight up with him and bring him down by his upper body.

As I said earlier, my heart breaks for the kid. But that hit was totally fair.

It wasnt a dirty hit, with a guy that big and strong, your supposed to go low like that. It was just bad luck

Horrific injury to a tremendous player. My prayers go out to he and his family. I hope that we see him playing again next year.

It wasn't a dirty hit. It's just bad timing of him planting his foot at the same time the hit comes.

I understand the concern after a play like that. But you are basically asking a defender to hit a strike zone, so to speak, while flying around at a hundred miles an hour.

Clean football hit part of the game that you hate to see to anyone!

Looked like a Posterolateral corner tear.... Possible ligaments blown out are ACL, PCL, LCL, Also Lateral Meniscus, IT Band, Lateral Hamstring, and other structures, tendons and ligaments could be torn.....

Devastating injury.... Not sure why Spurrier said not as bad as he thought..... Odd

Guys, help me out here. We're trying to remember, there was another really bad ankle/leg break. It was either last year or 2 years ago. They replayed it a lot. I know that's vague, but I have faith in you Volnation.

I think he said he hopes it isn't as bad as it looked, i may be wrong. He was definitely wrong

It's hard to tell if its a knee. I'm being optimistic & praying its a clean break.
It looked like all the ligaments in his knee blew out. Sickening to watch. When they first got to him, I thought his leg looked out of place, and then his head started to roll. You knew he was in some serious pain.

Spurrier said it looked devastating and he hoped it wasn't as bad as it looked on the field.

I am sure those trainers told him how potentially bad it could be.

I just hope Lattimore can make it to playing on Sundays after that.
