Um.. no? J Hunt needs to do his part and catch the damned ball. this isn't Upward football where everyone gets a trophy for participation. If you wanna get paid, play the damn game, and do your DAMN JOB.

Waaaayyyy to many "damns" .. but good point

Remember Carl Pickens, Alvin Harper, Anthony Morgan? Remember Robert Mechum? When examining highlight film, does JHarper fit into the same category as these guys? I personally don't think so -- at this point in his career. For every "circus catch" (and there haven't been too many of those recently) I could also show you a drop-ball IN A CRITICAL situation. He's been off and needs to get back on. I hope he stays for another year for development purposes. I could give too s..ts what Todd McShay says.

is still #1 McShays draft pick. Would not have expected that after recent performances.

If he is number one on McShays board then that tells you alot about his board. The kid from Alabama didn't drop anything last week against us and had a career day.

hunter needs to stay, but he has a kid now and probably
will have to go for the money. I say 3rd round at best based on this yr

Hunter may possess better WR skills but I draft CP ahead of Hunter right now due to CP's ability to return kicks. That is a skill every team desires but few teams have real game breakers. CP is a game breaker as a kick returner and would make an NFL team today doing that.

So you want to draft a kick returner in the 1st round?

Scouts love Hunter. It is the measurables.

Based on measurables, he is a combo of AJ Green & Julio Jones. He will test better than nearly anybody at the combine. He looks terrific. The question is will he help us win any big games before he cashes in? Or has he checked out?

He's not just a kick returner but also a damn good WR. He has tremendous potential at WR or slot receiver with an added dimension most other WR don't have. I would use a mid 1st round pick on him if my team didn't have the return skill set. Look at what D. Hester has done over his career for the Bears.

Damn good WR? He's not a top 50 WR in the country.

Based on what? Todd Mc Shay's ratings? Oh........

He has come into UT and taken over the role of who UT tries to get the ball to on offense in one year. Over Hunter for sure.

He's averaging 3 rec and 40 yards per game. He has a very long way to go in order to be a good wide receiver.

Also, as "terrible" as JH has been, he has almost 250 yards more receiving than CP thus far.

At the WR position alone, the stats favor Hunter. But add the rushing and KO/PR yards to CP and who has more total yards at the end of the game? They gave the Heisman to Tim Brown at ND doing the exact same thing as CP is doing. Not saying CP is in that class yet but for my NFL team the potential of CP is superior to JH.

Justin hunter is to WR's in physical characteristics what Shaq had for centers. He is an absolute physical freak. He will out jump anyone in the draft, out run 95% of people, and he will catch just fine.

Has he sucked it up this year compared to what we thought? Yeah. for sure. But he's still head and shoulders the best WR measurable wise in america. There are few NFL teams if any that wouldn't take him right now.

Which is why he will go higher. Not only in stats, but his ability.

The comparison to Shaq is a fail. I honestly can't believe you typed that. He isn't the physical freak you make him out to be. Calvin Johnson is a physical freak. Justin Hunter is not. I doubt he out runs 95% of the people in the draft. In fact, I guarantee you he doesn't out run 95% of the people at the combine. Best measurable WR in the country? dude, measurables don't equate to success in the NFL. If you aren't getting it done in college, why should we think you will perform differently in the NFL against the very best competition?

Obviously I don't agree. CP can impact the game in more ways that JH. Many teams have WR with tons of receiving yards. CP can score against you from a multitude of ways besides receiving. More points is better than more receiving yards.

Any decent points you made were canceled out, when you compared him to Shaq. Lulz
