Come on now duck you ignored my question. Give it up already!
Check your facts, look it up. How much money did your athletic dept lose last year. Go look up the fastest growing program dollar wise and get back to me.
Our budget is bigger. We've literally spent over $100 million upgrading the practice facility, Neyland Stadium, Thompson Boling Arena, and building a new aquatic center. Our profitability is jacked because of servicing that debt and also paying off buyouts. A lot of the buyout goes away soon. Of course we will be picking up Dooley's if it's not covered by a booster as rumored.
Mind you it is our budget during an economic downturn and a historically unprecedented run of poor football. When things pick up, the profitability will be back.
Regardless if you think we are a poor dept or have poor facilities you would be very wrong. And as for as available money, we can spend every bit the money you can. Just sayin.
