Win or lose Saturday there should be a press conference from somebody addressing all this real soon. This uncertainty and guessing can't be good for the program on multiple levels.

My guess is that these are big boys in a big boy business. They know how the game works. Doesn't matter whether you are a coach, AD or booster, you know that your only as good as your next win or loss.

I can confirm for a 100% FACT that Haslam/Manning persuaded AD Hart to extend an offer of $6M/yr to CJG and that he has NOT yet accepted or declined our offer. Also JG is making $5M at ESPN.

I have NEVER pretended to have any inside information before and honestly thought about not even posting this. I realize this may not be breaking news. But I CAN tell you this is 100% accurate information. You can choose whether to believe me or not but I will say this is as close to coming from the horse's mouth as you're going to get unless Haslam or Hart is posting facts on this board.

I'm trying to figure it out. Apparently this thread has become the online equivalent of a mattress-burning party with people butt-chugging too close to an open flame. Or I've accidentally wondered onto the Vandy forum.

Has there been a discussion about Gruden, and or his agent, using the offer from UT as a bargaining chip for an increased salary from another team, most likely NFL?

After everything is done and over and we know the real story, this thread will be gold. If we get the real timeline then I plan on taking a few days to go through every post and publish batting averages of all the insiders.
