I'm a Dooley supporter and I just got off the phone with a good customer who buys a good amount of product from me (No ecred and don't want any). I have no idea if he's telling the truth but he just told me that Gruden has agreed but not signed. He is working with NCAA on getting cleared (for recruiting) and the annoucement will come after that so the recruiting won't lose a step. Also stated that Dooley may stay on staff in the AD to some degree because a lot of people want him around after taking on these bad years.

He says his info comes from former players that plays in golf tournaments he is part of.

I really want Dooley to stay so this is the best scenerio that I've heard. Some may be true or all false.

I will support either one!!

(I know that some of it has been stated but I didn't know if all of it was)

Gruden wasn't even successful as an NFL coach. Just ask Tampa Bay Buc fans who will tell you he ran the program into the ground there.

Grudenites, just put your thinking caps on and don't just gush with your emotions.

Chances are slim he would even want to come here, but if he does, I will be behind him 100%, but expectations will be low.

Before the phone call I had the feeling that none of it was true. Now I'm starting to think that its got a good chance of being true. I was ready to pull for Dooley to bring his record to 9-4 on the season (wishful thinking).

I will be happy either way.

So we're going to give home a 5 million dollar buyout for sucking at his job and then turn around and hire him within the AD?

Pure BS.

Hart and Dooley's relationship is not a good one at this point, no way Hart would sign off on him being a co-worker.

Keeping him on staff n some way would be ideal IMO.. Good ambassador.

I definitely won't be happy with losses no matter what.

I was thinking (could be wrong) that he/they may have worked a deal with his buyout. Not that they are going to pay him both. :crazy:

I would like him to stay on as recruiting coordinator, at least till he gets another HC offer from somewhere else.

I have been asked several times by Bammers, "When is Gruden going to be announced"? :rock:

I live in Huntsville, Al. We need something to shut these Bammers up.

Its not the losses. I just want to see him succeed in a bad way (again, wishful thinking). I will let others decide when its his time to go.
