He is putting together a staff pretty rapidly. Things are progressing fast and things will be in place to be announced for him to be our new coach next year. You shall see.

Yeah-it's not Raheem's fault. It's the fact that people named Josh Wilson, Cedric Griffin, and Madieu Williams are patrolling the area back there.

That and injuries. Hey, but at least we got RG3!

I would LOVE for Gruden to be hired, and already have his coaching staff lined up and ready to go recruit. That would be incredible. According to OCI's comment, sounds like the staff is coming around pretty nicely, if all of this is true.

I'm fine with Gruden not being announced till after the KY game. Still gives him two months to recruit. Plenty of time for him to go out and turn this class into a top 5/10!!

It would not be wise to have Gruden anywhere near Kville right now. If he happened to be spotted it would blow cover for sure. Its far more likely that any talks would be somewhere else.

i am almost willing bet u with gruden being announced as the new head coach we will land a top 7 class this year. and take some surprising recruits

Can he recruit if he hasn't been officially announced? What if Tooley sticks around awhile?

After seeing some of your pictures, I really want to believe you.....and I mean, believe you in a middle school girl at a Justin Beiber concert with a brand new iPhone kinda-way.

I teach high school and I hope the principal has to come in here and calm me down when this hire is announced.

What has changed in the last 12 hours that now everyone in this thread is saying he IS the next coach of UT?

Don't get me wrong, I hope it is true, but it seems something has shifted the mood regarding the odds on here.

if we hire gruden, i want tennessee to make a promo video titled "Awakened", in which it shows our team raise from the ashes to finally become dominant again.
