Not in question:
Whether DD will be fired.
Whether the AD will pony up big bucks
The only question is who it will be. I have my fingers crossed for Gruden.
Maybe, but if we have to hire somebody, out of all the names available, would you not agree that Gruden is worth the risk? Over the likes of Strong, Smart, Patterson, etc.
Serious question.
I'd love to get Gruden, but at what cost?
This is all I am saying. We are a pretty desperate fan base. Big time hires at big time salaries are an excellent thing. 10 year contracts for record breaking amounts before you've even seen the guy coach a CF team are not so much.
On the positive side I do believe on name and recognition alone, plus SB ring bling while sitting in living rooms will catapult recruiting like a rocket. As long as he has Joe's and assistants willing to beat the street evaluating I believe we'll be at the very least good. My only point is at 5 million per year I believe errybody would be demanding great.
I'm here to stay. This thread should live on forever
I'm in the wait and see mode. If they are right then good for them but if they are wrong then nobody will trust them again. I just don't see any reason for people to try and bash them.
If nobody was giving any info on the situation then everybody would be complaining and as soon as they do they get bashed.
I don't care if we hire MIckey Mouse as long as we get Goofey aka Dooley off the sidelines.
here's just a question, if some of you can just read the question, vs turning it into this we v they deal.
If DD is done and Hart has made a decision, why in the world is he spending more time with DD, his coaches, and team on the practice field this week? If he is done, why would he spend time evaluating them more than he has in 2 years?

I'd think he would be able recruit nationwide like Mack Brown does within the state of Texas.
