Kinda like Saban to Alabama was unlikely, even from the mouth of Saban himself. I'll believe it's true when Gruden is named as the HC. I'll believe it's false when someone else is named. Until then I'll continue to act like a kid at Christmastime.

Skeeter said that Smart is the only name he knew about brought up by Hart earlier today. Probably the only name Hart has said "out loud".

At one time I think Smart was set in stone. Then the insiders (of course I'm not one) said that the boosters said that they wanted a proven coach, so Smart was eliminated.

Still confused why when I click on the link patty provided the first post i see from OCI is saying he thinks Smarts our next coach. That was only three days ago; did he change his tune that much?

Ok, so OCI just flip-flopped? Just wondering because I have been in this thread so much I haven't been paying attention to much else. Thought OCI had been consistent on Gruden; maybe I'm missing it cause it's so late lol.

Sorry for double post.

I have no idea on how oci has been as far as who he thought was going to be the next coach. My optimism is stickly coming from SBV.

Media is playing it safe. Certain posters saying no way. All to be expected. Nothing has changed. It's going to get quiet for a little while. Nothing is wrong with that. Oh , and Hubbs seems to like our chances. Gruden will be the go to guy and things may work out in Tennessee's favor.


Other than that , got a serious headache. Can't sleep for ****.
