The saddest part about this particular Dooley supporter is the fact that he is a former player that was on the three SEC Championship teams under Johnny Majors. A champion accepting losing. I can't stomach that.

Wow! I have always loved studying the entire history of the program and think that anyone who knows the history of the program (as that guy would), would know better. His opinion and I am sure he knows more than I do about the game (and can prob whip me but I just cant accept that opinion as my own. I think UT can be a national contender and should be....and will be. Soon.

I remember driving home from UT/UF bball game in winter of 07, Pearl's second year, and the national show came on 990. The guy was talking about how well Pearl had done at UT and how he was gone after that year. He was clueless, a West coast guy that had no idea Pearl just got big raise and UT was upgrading facilities and just swept the national champ in front of 20k plus fans. It was absolute ignorance, talking about how UT was a stepping stone and he'd never stay there or go far. Some of those guys just make it up as they go along

Wouldn't it be better to let the announcement happen before picking the coaching staff? If there is going to be one! I am in no way trying to defend Dooley, just saying we have done this all before. I really do hope you all are right, just think everyone is jumping the gun.

Let's get Gruden hired and at the podium before we start naming his entire staff and cussing each other out over speculation about speculation. I can see getting into an arguement over Gruden but not taking it down to another level concerning his staff when we're still negotiating and talking and not sure he is hired yet. By the way-
