So now that we've all pretty much reached a consensus that Dooley will not be returning next year, a lot of attention is rightfully being paid to who will be replacing him.

But that leaves a few questions unanswered:

Where does this leave Dooley? Is he damaged goods now to the extent that he will never be hired as a college coach? Will Saban rehire him? Will he ever be a head coach again? Will he make it his life's goal to enact retribution on the team that let him go?

He needs to learn about football again, his model obviously didn't work.

Troy Palamalu's spot for head and shouders- he may not have the longest hair....but he has the stiffest and the most shiny.

Knowing our luck, he will end up tearing it up at some school and then get offered the uga job and hell lead them to multiple national titles

I got off the Dooley Train during the first half of the Miss St game.
In Dooleys defense he has done a good job of recruiting. The talent level is greatly improved. He was given the task of building a program with very little talent in a conference that dominates college football.

I think Dooley will get another HC gig. The sad thing for Dooley is the SEC. If TN was in any other conference the TN team of 2012 would bw competing for a conference championship or at least would be.in the top tier of the conference.

TN has lost to 4 top 20 teams with 3 being undefeated, with 2 of those loses to the no 1 and 2 teams in the BCS.

I think if Dooley is fired we are in much better shape than when he was hired.
I wish him the best and do think he develop into a very good coach. He walked into a terrible situation at TN.
