I think Dooley is done no matter what happens the rest of the year. If Dooley is our coach next year, it will be because Hart could not get who he wanted. Again, thats my opinion.

Your messages are kind of cryptic.

You say you think for sure Dooley is out.

But then you say he won't be out if Hart doesn't land his guy.

Are you trying to say Hart has found his guy?

I dont think Hart gets rid of Dooley without having someone hes comfortable with ready to take his place. I dont think he will fire Dooley and take a chance on having to settle for someone he may not think can get us where he wants us to be. I dont know of a easier way to put it. If a deal is in place as of right now, Hart is the only person within the ad that knows about it. People in the ad are aware that "feelers" have been sent out to more than one coach. Thats all i know.

So by saying you are confident that Dooley is out at this point and there is nothing he can do to save his job that means you feel strongly about Hart finding someone he would want to replace Dooley with?

Or are you just saying it is out of Dooley's hands at this point and only up to if Hart finds a good replacement.

Sorry if this seems nitpicky just with the way things are around her I want to make sure I have everything interpreted correctly.:hi:

I personally hold Skeeter as the most trusted insider on this board. When you have 24 people jumping up and saying it is done, locked in, forget about it signed... and Skeeter, nor his colleagues have any idea on it, I just don't see how this cannot just be some sort of a smokescreen.

Then again, why would they smokescreen with Jon Gruden, knowing that most of the fanbase will be disappointed with a different hire?

I am confuse.

I agree.

I highly doubt that Hart would offer Gruden a contract before firing Dooley. I don't doubt that Gruden and perhaps others have been contacted, but to say it is a done deal at this point is kind of crazy, IMO.

With Dooley, it's not if but when. The end.

I do think Hart won't fire Dooley without having his guy ready to say yes. We can't have the embarrassment of multiple people saying no. At least publicly.

Honest answer, do you think that is possible?

Yes, if we beat USCjr. But, I don't see us beating USCjr. So, realistically, no. But, I stand by saying Hart would be crazy to fire a 9-4 coach. A UT program that has been down for 5 years. 8-4 would mean a decent bowl.

Chris Low on 104.5 the zone... He doesn't think Dooley is fired after SC. After the season if not then. Things change if they lose to Troy.

On Gruden... Reiterates Gruden to NFL, not college.

Erin Andrews made a bet with Clay that Gruden was to NFL. Eagles if it comes open.

Alot of rumblings and upset boosters. But, one in particular said not one of them has stepped up to the plate and commit to pay the buyout.

That statement gives credibility they have been asked about it.

But, it also shows no one so far is willing to do it. After the USCjr game, perhaps someone gets ready to do so. However, this makes me feel nothing has happened with Gruden except some calls to see if interested. TIFWIW

But, I had this convo with someone who does know a booster very well.

sounds about what i expected

In that thread i left myself an out, if Wilcox and Sirmon was gone, then no deal. Im no dummy, sometimes. I knew Wilcox and Sirmon were looking and would leave for the west coast if the situation arose. I honestly feel if those guys hung around, we would only have 1 loss right now.

Ha gotcha. I didn't notice that part, I didn't care about the booth, just want to know your Identity!

I got caught up in all the Gruden talk but I'm starting to believe that Dooley is back in 2013 & if he is fired then Kirby Smart is likely his replacement. JMO.

Same old Fulmer sources as LWS. They know nothing anymore.
