Official Jon Gruden Thread III

In case you havent seen the Gruden threads on this board the last few days, many people are buying it hook line and sinker. Even to the point that they criticize real news outlets for reporting to the contrary.

So is it your job to try and debunk everything so everyone will be as miserable as you?

Has it ever dawned on you that there are 2 sides to every story? Last I checked DD still holds a license to practice law and if the rumor that is going around is true, then any media that reports it before UTAD announces would not be a wise move.

I know the media has picked up on the smoke and where there is smoke there is flames. The media is not relying on info on Volnation to be their "source" and if you feel that is the case then you should remove the DD blinders on your eyes and expand yourself.

What happens next few weeks determines if I drop 1200-1500 bucks to go to Kentucky.

I agree, i have season tickets and drive 4 1/2 hours to Knoxville 7 times a year to watch my beloved vols play. Needless to say its getting harder every year to renew my tickets with the product thats being put on the field.

If what they say is true, there is a waiting period between now and Monday. If by Monday Dooley is still the coach, or no decision has been made, you will have your answer regarding the validity of this system that has consumed our lives these last few days.

Not sure how closely you've been reading, but none of them are promising an answer by Monday. Some of them orginally said that the timing they had heard for Dooley's dismissal was after USC, which presumably would be by Monday, but events since then have changed the latest assessment to sometime between then and the end of the season. So if Dooley is still here next week it may not mean much other than he's delaying the inevitable.

:):):):):):)Hey guys,how's it going?
Just arrived home from Cades Cove..Had a great time and saw one deer about 8 feet from the road.

It would have been a lot better if you had been here to help dispense the riff-raff. Grudenation could have used our sergeant at arms today. Infiltration by pumpers and nega-grudes on a massive scale.

Hi smokey....glad you're here. As the official Grudenite hostess, could you please direct the football forum riff-raff to the nearest exit?

Seems somebody left the door open when we got banished to the new forum, and they followed us. Apparently they have been unable to find their way home....the poor dears.

Newbie here.

While I LOVE the idea of Gruden being here, I have to remain skeptical. Rumors are fun, but I'm surprised that some are saying "fact".

That said, color me a Grudenite.

Talking SEC about to talk about UT on Comcast don't know if they will talk about Dooley situation or not but they are about to

I hear ya. I'm coming from ft smith arkansas. 12 hours each way. Wife 2 kids. Hotels. Gear. Food. It racks up. Just would like knowing a win is there.

With Dooley we are getting exactly what we are paying for. A coach that the lower levels of the SEC would fire.

Just thinking about it makes me want to go home and kick my dog.

Except I don't have one so I am forced to drop kick my kids goldfish bowl instead.
