You are absoluteyl correct because it is creating a political nightmare for him if it doesn't happen. The fan base is gearing up for us to hire a Ferarri. Hart will never be able to sell a Volkswagen if that is what he ends up with.

I remember you knocking this rumor from day 1. I'd love to hear your thoughts on the current rumors, mainly Gruden and the Dooley2UNC stuff that has only cropped up in the last week or so.

Wasnt the fan base geared up to hire the same ferarri in 2009?

Wasnt there a list of like 5 people that we were after?

didnt we get stuck with a volkswagon?

dont be so sure that Hart gives a rats @ss about all this speculation. He has a program to run. I dont think he's taking opinion polls from the fans.

I am certain there will be a change.

I am certain they will contact and throw a large amount at Gruden and others.

To say he has taken the job or is anywhere close to it is as much of a fantasy as anything that runs on the Sci-fi channel.

He doesn't. He is one of many sports journalists in this state that is reliant upon the AD for access and information. Even if he knew, which he probably does, he couldn't release it until confirmed by the AD or Gruden without risking his access.

I am not saying this is true or false, but why does everyone assume that Gruden will not, can not coach here. We have great history and traditions and it is ridiculous to assume we could not get a big fish to come to this school. Is it a done deal? Maybe ...but it is crazy how many people on here seem to think so low of UT that they will not even put us and Gruden in the same context...
