And what would be DD's motivation to take less money? His love and devotion to the Vols? Unless Hart has some breach of contract dirt on DD he will get all of his cash.

If it was already decided they would have announced it Monday.

I'm sorry that your all's dream isn't true. But it isn't.

Now we will likely lose Saturday and then I do believe that this all could go down.

But to believe there is no way Dooley could save his job would be foolish. Even if Gruden wants to come.

Gruden wouldn't do that to Dooley.

OK whatever, anyone can make up things on the internet and call them facts it doesn't make them real.

I just don't know why you have to go out and make blanket statments when deep down you know they aren't true.

You are getting people's hopes up.

Why keep it secret? Hart would just be setting himself up to look like an a$$. Firing a guy right after he beats his first top 20 team and gets momentum to finish the season strong.

No way Hart would take that chance.

I know you are mad....I understand. But you throwing a fit isnt going to change anything. You are entitled to believe whatever you want, I wont try to stop you.

Agreed. IF TN were to win (not calling it likely, but if) Hard to see Hart firng CDD only 2 1/2 years in the day after he gets his biggest win over a hall of fame coach on the road, and still has a chance to end up 9-4 on the year. Aint going to happen if TN wins on Saturday folks. Therefore it is NOT a done deal.

I'm not denying there aren't weird elements to this rumor. If Dooley wins Saturday, it could certainly complicate things happening on the short term for what's been stated in these rumors.

I'm not mad. I for one hope we get Gruden, but I just don't like people getting their hopes up for something that isn't true.

I probably know the least amount of information on all of this out of anyone. I just hear rumors and believe what I want, but don't talk like you know the guy personally. Business is business and that is what college football is now.

If DD "aint your Guy" what diff does it make when you let him go? the little heat he will take will be quickly exstinguished by the announcement of Gruden as his signature hire. Now if he steps up to the podium with Kirby Smart......he would be toast.
