Honest question, after watching all the games this year, I can honestly say that there are only a couple players who I've felt have made exceptional plays, notably CP. I thought Neal was starting to get there before his injury. Zach Rogers has also made a few excellent grabs, but other than that, all I've seen is players making (or not making) routine plays.

In Bama game.....CP and Marlin Lane were two that I thought came to play.

Yes, CP dropped a pitch. But those type boo-boo's ain't what is killing us. I know someone will want to argue that

Hence the question, or did you not get that part?

easy there hoss, just a question

I saw the part where you said "all I've seen is players making (or not making) routine plays" and wondered how you could leave those players off.

Don't pretend you weren't being snarky in your reply.

It's like if I said to you "Are you effing stupid?"

You get angry and I follow up with.

"Whoa, whoa, easy hoss, I didn't say you were stupid, I was just ASKING if you were stupid."

I think the O-line has done a great job all year. AJ is great. Neal has done a good job. He catches alot of crap from fans.

There is a lot of talent on this team that is waiting to be developed. If we had more coaches like Graham and Pitman just imagine how good we could be. Also a good strength and conditioning coach that can help our players get fast is key too.

I was not being "snarky" it was an honest question. You left off a couple of the most improved players/groups on UT's team IMO and I just wondered why

I think the O-line has done a great job compared to last year, but...we're still ranked like 55th in the nation in rushing. I'd like to be able to run it when they know we're going to run it. I'd call that stepping up.

ok children, back to main question!

O-line has be great in pass protection, and not to bad at all in the run game lately! AJ is just AJ (beast). what is still bothering me is why in the world we only give m. rivera one pass in the bama game...i mean he took that down to what the 3 or 4 yd line! give him the ball a little more! JMO

Really? I literally ask a question looking for an answer and you wonder why I didn't provide my own answer? Wow.

The oline has been ranked in the top 2 if the SEC behind Bama. RB's are starting to turn heads as well with that big push upfront.

Respect your elders thunder...some morning it takes awhile for our prune juice to kick in.

The guy can put you in timeout so no need to call him snarky. Let's just drop it and move along.

I will add Tiny to my list. As a first year starter, he has really improved from the bad game against Florida. Great footwork for that size.

I asked Tiny last night about his match-up with Clowney this Saturday. He said and I quote, "I am going to eat him for lunch...even if Clowns do taste funny"

AJ Johnson makes every other tackle so he has to be on the list, Sentimore played really well against Bama... The OLine has been straight up awesome all season as well.

Yes! That is by far the most improved group since October of last year. Something has really clicked for them.

CP and Lane played very well for us. CP is a special talent, and seeing Lane get to the outside and make some people miss with his juke moves was pretty special. Lane is a very good RB. If he learns to trust his knee and takes care of himself off the field he could be a very good player for us.

Darrington Sentimore was inspired in the bama game

IMO he's played well all season long. I have zero problems with our d-line. Yea, they don't get a ton of pressure, but we are in a 3-4. Our LB, especially JACK spot, and CB positions is what the problem is. When Randolph went down we lost any hope of having just a decent secondary. We have the worst secondary I've seen here in the last 10-15 years right now.

No pressure will make a secondary look worse than it is. Need a decent pass rush.

How on earth has AJ stepped up? Playing hard & getting toasted? He's blown assignments, missed tackles, & is as slow as anybody on D.

AJ is a beast of a LB who would start for any team in the country including BAMA. Not sure it's wise to bash the best player on the team.
