I'm totally on the #GetDooleyOuttaHere bandwagon but if, and a big IF, he wins on Saturday...would Hart still can him next week?
Do the insiders know the answer to that?

Not trying to be a smart butt here, just really curious on how could they spin a firing after a "big" win.

If the Cocks were smart, they would lose on purpose. Their season is already shot. Think goodness that have those little bird brains and ain't too bright.

The Athletic Department is being too quiet with all this smoke out about this. You would think if this wasn't true, we would have heard something by now.

IF Gruden has agreed to anything, it means Dooley won't be back, regardless of how the rest of the season plays out.

"IF"..........being the key word there.....and that is why Thrash put it in all-caps...........

Jumping in here to help the slower vol bros out

Tidbit from a friend that a bama board has this posted:

John Gruden has signed contract for Vols,
Still bit hesitant but here goes anyways.
Tennessee Hires Jon Gruden
I've just been told that the University of Tennessee has completed its negotiations, and that an agreement has been reached to name Jon Gruden as the next head coach of the University of Tennessee Volunteers.
It's done. And by "done" I mean LOI or MOU is being written, and either has been or will be signed in short order.
I have no idea as to the announcement of Dooley's "resignation" or of Gruden's acceptance, but I am now confident in saying that it is done.

So are the other SEC sites just playing along too, or does this dog hunt?

Wait...wasn't this posted word for word here yesterday?

Also, like I said earlier, all the sources within the program are saying Dooley is done, and Gruden has agreed, in principle, to a deal. All the sources on the donor side say otherwise.

Since they would be the ones footing most of the bill don't you think they would know if UT was about to drop that many $$?

What other SEC sites? When those Tiger Dropping boys got it, then it is a confirmed deal. they thick

Yes, but it could be out of date information, or something. I would expect those inside the program to know the most about Dooley's job status.

There are two opinions. One is that he was only asked or expected to get 8 wins. If he does, who knows. The other is that he is gone regardless because history has not been kind to his record.

I keep thinking this is probably true. Having said this, if you aren't going to make a change, it's probably better to just let the fire that's creating the smoke smolder out on it's own and act like all is well. People will forget eventually about all this, if we start winning again. It's natural.

I am so stoked. But since we are in a wait till Sunday or Monday. I still hope Vol fans are respectful to Dooley if he indeed is allowed to finish the season.

I agree with knowing about DD's status, I was talking about Gruden. I'd think the major donors would be in the know.

Are brupees that exercise you had to do in gym class when you were in school? god, I hated those things.

Most likely. Burpees are horrible, horrible things. Down into pushup, squat jump and then back down to do it all over again. I have to do something like 50 if we dont get Gruden. So this BETTER happen. lol
