Dudes. Its what happens when we type, we cant tell the inflection of voice from a keyboard to see if anybody is mad or not...its all good...

I haven't lost confidence we can make it happen. I'm just trying not to buy into unsubstantiated claims from posters who have been wrong plenty of times before.

It's pointless, though, because even if I can convince myself it's not true, it will still be a huge let down if we don't get the Grude.

Remember this for all of you that are starting to doubt this. Nick Saban quoted that he would not leave Dolphins and a week later he was the coach for the Tide. This is falling in line with alot of what went in then. Please keep the faith. If you pay him The Gruden will and is coming. The people that are telling you the info is legit. So just trust them and we will be back. Go Gruden and Go Vols

Right there with you...sure I got excited when SBV pulled the bomb, but now I am in wait and see mode again...

This shat needs to go down soon or my wife will be ordering me a pine box.

I agree with this too...the deflection tactics were expected...and this is 99.99% a done deal based upon what our generous homies have said....the .01% doubt is from the Hamilton stain...

Last I have heard LWS said something similar to Hubbs that he knows we will target Gruden but he doesn't think anything is finalized yet. He also says he would lean towards him not coming if he had to guess.

Skeeter said he was in the dark on this one a few days ago and hadn't heard anything.:hi:

No college head coach uses 100% of their playbook every game. Grudens playbook is nothing compared to al Saunders' 800 page monstrosity. Don't worry about simplifying the playbook. All coaches do it.

From what I've heard, everyone on the donor side of the equation believes Dooley has to get 8 wins. Everyone with a source inside the program says Dooley is out, and Gruden is essentially in.

So I really want to believe what the "insiders" are saying, but the disagreement has me worried. I would think the donors would know about any dealing with Gruden, since they are the ones allegedly meeting with him.
