START WORLEY AGAINST USCe..

Does anyone have any information as to how Worley has looked in practice this year? Has he taken most of the second team snaps or shared them with Peterman? I recall the staff was really high on Peterman before his injury in preseason, but haven't heard much about him either. A lot of people on here are quick to replace CDD, but there's not nearly as much talk about changing QBs. Given that Bray is 11th in completion percentage among SEC QBs with 100 attempts, leads the SEC in INTs, and has displayed poor decision-making, I don't think the coaches are bluffing when they talk about benching him. I don't claim to know enough to say this would help matters, but it sure would be nice to have a QB who could pick up a few tough yards and make a big play when you need it without fumbling or throwing an interception. Not to mention his attitude when things go wrong. Kind of like a Johnny Manziel, Jeff Driskel, Connor Shaw, etc., etc.

We played USCe tough will Worley last year, and Da'Rick dropped a game changing TD pass. Of course, we actually had a good defense as well.

Its kind of funny how my sports life runs in parallel. I feel like I relive Saturday's all over on Sunday. My Chiefs are going through the same problems as the Vols. QB is awful. Secondary is awful. Fans are screaming for change...GM-Pioli/HC-Crennell. Now the Chiefs are going with QB #2.

I would personally like to see what Worley has. I don't believe Bray has "it".

We have played two good secondarys in Alabama and Florida and a decent one in Mississippi state. Ya, he made a few bad throws but Bray will be fine.

You say something?

We see all the time when a team is struggling, the QB gets benched. The saying goes, when a team is losing the backup is the most popular player on the team. Not saying that would solve things, but lots of people want change, but haven't mentioned switching QBs. Given that CDD and CJC have both said it's a possibility, I just wondered if anyone with access knows how Worley has looked in practice and if they think he's ready.

The kids ready. He is also very talented as he was the gatorade player of the year his senior year in rock hill. Anyone is an upgrade over Bray at this time, kid is a complete head case just like his head coach. That makes for some ugly football. Start Worley and start a new chapter for the better.

Got no problem with Worley coming in for a series if Bray screws up, but still hope Bray figures it out vs. USC.

I was just alluding to everyone's attention going to the Gruden thread.

Bray has earned nothing this year besides the right to hold a clipboard. I think he has more talent than the other two, but he's not "better" than most, if any, playing in the SEC right now. Worley deserves a shot.

The qb is the face of almost all teams like it or not. Bray may have been better on a more stable team that was't having to rebuild . You need a guy that is going to make some plays when the play that is called has not went as planed ,not just throw it in the stands as the second read.

I don't think he has been, but for the conspiracy crowd, Bray, as much as i hate to say it, has looked at times this year like he's shaving points. Don't get me wrong, I do not think he has, but I can certainly understand how someone could think that. It's just hard to come up with a different explanation for some of his throws this year?

He better be ready or not to go in the game. All we need is for Bray to have a badly sprained ankle or a broken thumb. They did practice this senario during the summer I think or spring. I'd like to see Dooley start Worley for the USCe game just to give him an opportunity to get in there and be the QB we all know he can be...a winner. He's been on the side lines for 2 years now he should know the playbook by now & what to do in certain situations. I'd feel confident in Justin to get the job done.

It is painfully obvious that Bray hasn't learned anything while at UT ( evidence on the field). He can't check down and we waste plays if the number one receiver is covered as the stands gets that pass. Chaney doesn't help things when on 3rd and short we go for the deep ball, or we need 8 yards and he completes a pass for 3. This situation is alot like the upcoming election with Bray as Obama, I don't know if Romney is the answer to all my prayers but I have 4 years of evidence to say That Obama sure as hell ain't. How many games does Bray have to piss away before you are willing to change?

Bray is the better QB despite what people in this board are saying

the problem with bray is he thinks he is the only one that can play qb and he cant be replaced. i say bench his ass and plan for next year with worley as the starter and dont look back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm sorry but Bray hasnt played poorly enough to get benched. He's made some great throws that kept us in the game against florida, georgia, and msu, not to mention some on-the-money deep balls that were dropped. Though he has made some costly mistakes, overall I dont think his performance thus far warrants getting benched for Justin Worley. I've finally lost all faith in Dooley andmost of the staff after Bama, still believe in Tyler. I still think he's a pretty good QB for us.

I have no clue what practices might look like. I do know that there has been inconsistent play and a complete lack of leadership at the QB position this year. Worley is from SC and was a high school team-mate of Patterson. I say give him a shot and see what he does. I don't think it would be fair to anyone to fall behind and then put him in. Let him start! If Helton didn't hurt his knee, Manning might have had to wait another year to play. I don't want Bray to get hurt but want to see what Worley can do.

I called in to the Ainge show with this very question on Tuesday. I stated that since everyone wants to get the ball to CP who better than his high school qb to do it. Ainge did not agree and proceeded to mock the idea on the show. I'm not sure why but he continues to give Bray a pass for his poor performance on the field. I respect what Bray has done for us but I for one truly believe it is time to give Worley the rock.
