I took a couple weeks off, it was amazing. Break the addiction, you'll be glad. Every thread says literally the same thing over and over.

I agree. The number of things all of the sudden unearthed against Dooley are insane. Why haven't we heard until now that Dooley was in contact with UNC after year 1? How did nobody in the media pick up the story on Dan McCullers threatening Dooley? Why can't the story on Dooley's supposed altercation with Hart be found anywhere but the Gruden thread? My personal favorite is the one guy that heard through the grapevine that Dooley was mean to a guy at a lightbulb shop.

I'll admit, I don't think Dooley is going to make it past this year, but the stories coming out of the woodwork at a rapid pace are just hilarious.

Lol, Freak thinks I'm joking, but it is seriously a problem, and I just go deeper into it.

I saw a couple of those. I just found this thread recently where not many of them post. It's more civilized over here and more positive. I'm watch the ULL vs ArkSt game right now and David Oku had a run and I thought, man, I'm glad Kiffen and that whole mess is gone.

Lol. I forgot about the lightbulb sales guy. I can't stop laughing as I type. And I agree, its not looking good for Dooley, but he stopped the bleeding and righted the ship. He should be commended.

I agree 100%. I'll wish Dooley the best wherever he ends up, but for now, I'm pulling for a W on Saturday. I'd love to read the Gruden thread after a big road win.

I took several months off from it at one point...I recommend it...I felt like you at one point and now I don't care at all...i'm much more grounded than I used to be about it

Where did these stories come from? Big Dan gets along with everyone, he is one of the coaches and team mates favorite players along with tiny. Hart really really likes Dooley and they've had some arguments, but nothing major i dont think. But i do think Hart will make a move if he can get someone he wants no matter what happens the rest of the year. He will not fire him first then have to settle for someone he really doesnt want.

Don't know where they come from skeeter. Ask the fine folks in the coaching speculation thread about it, because they're proclaiming all of the above as facts. I was saying that I don't believe a word of it.

Skeeter, while you are here, maybe you can answer a question or two.

1. Does Bray not put in the time needed to learn to recognize defenses, coverages, etc.?

2. Related to question 1... Do the coaches have legitimate reason not to trust Bray to audible at the line of scrimmage, or is it too much micro-managing in your opinion?

Nothing would make me happier than to see Dooley win out and turn this thing around in the future. Nothing would make me sadder than to see him win out... and not turn this thing around in the future.

As much as I'd love it, I'm just not gonna get my hopes up on us getting Gruden. It's almost that it makes too much sense and it's too good to be true to happen to a team that I love.

Much like the Peyton to the titans rumor..him and his family loved the state, he vacations in east tn all the time blah blah blah.

imo he needs a good defense to practice against. He put in alot fo extra time during the off season with the wideouts. Losing DR was huge, like i said when it happened, we lost our best wr. DR by far and away ran the best routes, had the best hands and would never shy away from contact. #11 and #84 may have more upside, but #21 was the best wr on the team at the time and it wasnt close.

I think your second question falls on Chaney.
