You didn't really ask questions. A lot of statements. I sent you an email 2 days ago. You choose whether to believe it or not. Asking the same questions again isn't going to initiate a response.

JMO, but I will be shocked if Gruden actually coaches a game this season. If we are able to hire him, and if he leaves ESPN midseason, IMO, it would be to recruit, not coach.

I could see a similar situation to what Urban Meyer did last year. It was as if they basically had 2 staffs at the same time. One working with the team and one on the road recruiting. We all complained about it at the time , but if they can do it , so can Tennessee.

I would think someone would have to be fired from the "coaching staff" for every new coach hired on to the "recruiting staff." If Dooley is replaced with an interim, then the new head coach can come in, and we're still at the right number.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, as I vaguely recall OSU going over the allowed total. I'm not 100% clear on the rule.

I'm not sure. The way everyone complained it was as if they went over the limit. Either way , I agree. He won't coach a game here this season if he is hired before the season ends.

I didn't get emails from the others so I'm not exactly clear on where they stand at this point.

Do you expect Dooley to be fired before the Troy game?

Other than that, I believe I have your answers. Thank you for responding.

I would just like to say thank you to OV, jay, boro, dto, and who ever else that has shared info from souces on this thread. It has been an entertaining few weeks to say the least.

No matter the outcome of this situation, thanks for putting in out there.

Good morning everyone. How are my fellow Grudenites doing. Well looks like a new day has come and one day closer to a landmark day in the history of the football program at the University of Tn. After this is over I am going to hit the woods and kill a deer or 2. Right now to much info to go around to be able to do my favorite thing to relax

At this point it's like a ticking clock. It could happen any day. However, I do believe Hart will play it safe and keep Dooley around until he seals the deal with the next coach (which I hope is soon so recruits will have time to get informed).

After the Volnation debate last night I think it is important to fact check the participants.

OCI has claimed all within the past 7 days:
- Derek Dooley will be the head coach next year period. Was stated multiple times in the recruiting forum.
- Kirby Smart would be our next head coach. Posted as recent as yesterday.
- Now John Gruden has a formal offer.

All other people who have shared info, Boro, Jay, OV, DTO, YFB, Chavis (Sorry if I missed someone) have shared the same story for over 2 weeks now. Those stories have been the same and reinforced by posters such as LWSvol, SBV, ect. Even said by media types Lowe, Travis, Finebaum.

Just thought that would be important to point out for all of the other people on this board who have had no lives, and are following this by the minute. Don't want to get caught following the wrong insiders...
