No it wouldn't. Just a few months ago we were talking that this season had 7-8 wins built in. Thats the baseline, and means this team merely held serve and did not improve.

I want more for our team than that. Only beating the teams we're favored to beat is not good enough.

It is not just this, though.

Every team we have played has had at least one player that had a career night against us. We made a mediocre Miss St QB look like Charlie freaking Ward. Hell. We have made very single QB we have played against look like a Heisman candidate.

We continually spot other teams 17 easy points to start the game and then everybody gets mad when Bray is throwing picks while trying to get us back into it.

Our tackling is atrocious. Our defensive backs seem like they don't even play on the same team. Our offensive play calling borders on absurd half the time. None of our players know how to read a play at the LOS. Our special teams is the worst it has ever been. Ever. We don't contain. We can't shed blocks. We have no pass rush. When we do get a sack, it is because the QB is trying to decide which open receiver he wants to throw to.

We are not good and we are getting less good as time goes on.

The phrase "any given Sunday(Saturday)" doesn't apply to Dooley if it's against a ranked opponent. Imagine flipping a coin 14 times and losing every time. The odds aren't 50%, they're 0%.

I can't ignore the lack of improvement on the field, not just wins and losses, and the track record over 3 years. The next 4 games cannot change that.

I think it is safe to say this info has been withheld for timing purposes. The AD is building a case for the few remaining supporters of this sunken ship. I don't believe this is just a coincidence. They are trying to get everyone on board. If his record didn't have you on board than this most definitely will.
