Pujols is better, yeah. Doesn't change the fact that Chipper could have gotten straight up paid if he wanted. Doesn't really change much either way, just that the Braves were lucky enough to have that greatness his entire career.
The only good thing about the Cards run this year is it destroys the utter myth that TLR is some genius of our universe and pushed the cards back from the brink of extinction last season. And I love Beltran, a lot.
Chipper is one of the best of our generation no doubt. But that goober brought up Pujols leaving like it was a black mark on the Cards. It was an idiotic comment. But I'm used to hearing the trash chunkers make idiotic comments.

You kept talking about how pathetic it was for chipper to play for such a piss poor organization and classless fans like he didn't have a choice. His choice was to never even approach free agency. He would have been the highest paid player and been offered more coin had he chose that route but he didn't. And on the way out he called the Braves one of the best organizations in sports and thanked the fans for being the best in baseball. His words, direct quote.
Pujols left at the first opportunity. That's why he was mentioned.
You have yet to make a single point in all of your rambling. I don't you've ever had a complete though. The humorous part is you believing that the cardinals winning with smoke and mirrors somehow makes you more intelligent and gives you a better understanding of the game.
People don't dislike the Cardinals because they're good. They dislike them because of fans like you. I've always respected them as an organization but you give them a bad name. I'd say most fans are embarrassed to be associated with someone like you. I know I am as a Vols fan. We'll see. My college football team used to be hated by everyone too. But that's when they were good. At least my MLB team is damn solid. Haha
