we are almost back imo. its like were on a rollar coster right before we get over the hill and then it starts to get fun. It was a slow climb but the result will be worth it.
Dooley has improved the team every year, next year the only way to improvement is to win games so i will hold judgement for now.
They are not almost back. The talent level has improved some but only because it was at an all-time low.
They are not recruiting anywhere near the level they need to to be able compete among the heavyweights year in and year out in this league. I'm sorry but they just arent. They are recruiting at a mid-tier SEC level and no higher.

We competed with UGA pretty damn well this year. Our defense just needed to stop the big plays and we failed to do that. We did it against MSU and still got beat, but that game was close too. Our d is holding us back. I think the offense is well-coached. And can we keep the negativity out of Derrick Green's thread PLEASE.
Yes the D is holding them back. I agree with that. But who is the one who hired Sunseri? A good LB coach with basically a bad DC resume. Competing with an overated UGA team in a single season doesn't mean this program is "getting" better. Mississippi State is a team Tennessee flat out has more talent than. A loss to them is bad no matter how close the game was. This improvement you guys are seeing is just not happening. What is going to happen next year when the talent level especially on offense dips again?
